Thank you Marc, Home made sandwiches delivered on the spot... always good when made with love.
Thanks
The change I would suggest is that there be a guide in the back of a group to help out in case of need and to help out those less advanced cyclists. Keep in mind that this tour takes place in traffic with cars and not always in cycling lanes. This is intimidating for some if not all new cyclists in a new country most are aged over 60 and are novice participants.
Other than that suggestion, the tour is fun and well worth doing. The park where we had lunch was very pretty. Thanks to Lucy our guide. I would recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for your very detailed feedback, your recommendation and the 5⭐ rating. We are really sorry to hear that you and your husband had some stressful moments on the road and that he was injured, even if only lightly – this is absolutely not the kind of experience we want our guests to have. You are absolutely right: e-bikes are heavier and can feel intimidating, especially for less experienced cyclists riding in a new city and a different traffic environment. Your suggestion to always have a guide at the back of the group, to support the less confident riders and react quickly if needed, is excellent. We are already reviewing our on‑tour procedures to keep the group more compact and to make sure everyone feels safe and looked after from start to finish. We are nonetheless very happy that you enjoyed the route, the views, the lunch break in the park and Lucy’s company. We will of course share your kind words with her. Thank you again for taking the time to leave such a constructive 5⭐ review – your feedback really helps us improve our tours for future guests.
